* New students: University admission confirmation letter; Continuing students: transcript that shows university result with a GPA of 3.0 or above (on a 4.0 GPA scale) or equivalent.
^ If the applicant has urgent financial needs, he/she may submit materials that he/she believes might support the case further, although general financial difficulties will not bear weight to the application.

Application Form
Please download both the “Application Form” and “Project Planning Form” for Bonham Tree Aid Scholarship 2025/26.pdf” from below. The 2 forms must be completed in English electronically.
Applicants must complete all pages of both 2 documents in English, and can opt to include your answers in traditional Chinese supplementary reference if deemed necessary. Please make sure you do not put any names on the pro forma.
You are required to answer all questions in the forms, including to describe your project of inheriting Hong Kong’s Culture in 500 to 1,000 English words. Your action plan should include:

the vision and objectives of your project;

how your project will contribute to the continuity of Hong Kong’s culture, on any level, and how it will serve to highlight and uphold the value of democracy;

your action plan for the upcoming 12 months, including how you would make use of this scholarship if . You should elaborate how you would utilise this scholarship if you are awarded.
Document naming format: The form must be named as "(EnglishFullName)_(DocumentType).pdf”

Recommendation Letter
You are strongly encouraged to provide a written reference that justify your necessary skills, positive demeanour, and potential to be successful in the Scholarship Programme. Both electronic or scanned copy of a handwritten letter with a valid signature are acceptable.
Applicants should provide the referee’s email on the Scholarship’s application form. If the Fund is unable to verify the referee’s identity by 23:59 UK time on 31 October 2025, the application will be deemed “without referral letter”.

Purpose & Background
The application for Bonham Tree Aid Scholarship must be submitted before 31 October 2025 23:59 (UK Time). Applicants can notify us to change their university or subject once between October and November 2025. Send us an email should you have any inquiries.
